I did something bad yesterday….something very, very bad which greatly harmed something belonging to my fiance! ;o(  It was a complete accident, and not totally my fault, but I still should’ve known better and been paying more attention so that it hadn’t happened. I’m not going to confess what it was to the blogging world, and that’s not the point of this entry! The point is- plain and simple- I am marrying an AMAZING man! When I called him upset and crying over what I’d done, he didn’t get mad in the slightest bit. Instead he calmed me down and reassured me that no matter how bad it was, it was no big deal. He is wise enough to see that things- are just that-things, not people, not important, not what really matters. So even though I still feel really bad about what I did, I also know 100% that I am extremely LOVED. Had I done this to any previous boyfriends- I know for sure the reaction would not be the same! It’s during these times and when these things happen that I know for sure that I have found the man I am meant to be with.

I hate to be mussy and yucky- but it’s like everyone who is with their right partner says when you ask how they knew they were meant to be- “You’ll know when you know!” It took me awhile to get to that, but man- once it hits, there is no question in your mind, and it’s an amazing feeling!

I feel like he’s been helping to live out I Corinthians 13 in our lives-

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

He had the perfect chance to be mad at me (and I would’ve deserved it!), or to milk the situation and make me feel bad to get me to do stuff for him (his laundry, dishes, etc.). Instead, he went and did something special for me……

and got me these!

You can’t get much better than that! I cannot WAIT until our wedding day!!! :o)
